For the first time in almost 18 months you will be able to buy a new Volkswagen SUV for less than $40,000 with the return to showrooms in September of the Tiguan and Tiguan Allspace 110TSI variants.
After a prolonged absence due to production constraints, customers can once again enter the Volkswagen SUV range with the multiple Car of The Year award-winning Tiguan 110TSI Trendline, Tiguan 110TSI Comfortline and the seven seat Tiguan Allspace 110TSI Comfortline.
"The return of our most affordable SUV for the moment means that the leading vehicle of its type is once more available at all price points in its segment," Volkswagen Australia Director of Customer Experience and Marketing Jason Bradshaw said.
"With the imminent arrival of the broader Touareg range to be followed early next year by the T-Cross and T-Roc, Volkswagen's SUV family will be completed. Volkswagen has substantially retained its market share despite massive constraints on the supply of current model SUVs and long waiting lists for new models."
