The New 307CC – New Look, New Features at a Lower Price!
The first shipments of the new Peugeot 307CC (Coupe Cabriolet) have arrived in Australia; just in time for summer.
One of the most popular convertibles on the market, the 307CC is set to gain even more friends, not only with its new looks and features, but also its new, lower pricing. The 307CC Dynamic model now begins at only $47,990, and the 307CC Sport at $54,990, a saving of $2000 across the range.
Icing on the 307CC cake is a fully electrically operated retractable metal hardtop that allows the car to offer the best of both worlds. With the roof erected, the 307 is a cosy sporting coupe, yet at the touch of a button the Peugeot is transformed into an elegant convertible in less than 25 seconds.
A new sporting frontal design influenced by the award-winning Peugeot 407 stamps a real point of difference on the new 307CC. There are larger elliptical headlamps with 20 percent greater luminosity, an aluminium bonnet, a prominent grille and integrated bumper with spotlights.
The 307CC also features a revised and updated interior equipped with an on-board computer and new multi function display, as well as dual zone climate control. The Dynamic model also benefits from 17 inch alloys as standard, replacing the 16 inch rims of the previous model.
Lower seating provides a more sporting feel, and the car is a full four-seater with a high level of standard equipment.
The sedan-like boot offers an impressive capacity of 350 litres when the roof is in its raised position, and a very useable 204 litres as the roof and long, curved rear windscreen retract into the boot.
For the Australian market, the 307CC Dynamic is equipped with a new 2-litre, double overhead camshaft engine producing 103kW of power, and driving through a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-stage 'tiptronic' automatic transmission. The 307CC Sport features a willing 130kW engine with VVT for more spirited driving, available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Peugeot 307CC represents outstanding value for money, with generous levels of standard equipment. Digital dual zone climate control, four airbags, ABS with ESP and traction control, alloy wheels, emergency brake assist, remote control central locking, auto headlights and wipers are all standard on both models – just to name a few features.
In addition, the Sport model also benefits from tyre pressure sensors, deadlocking and alarm system, door mirrors that fold in when the car is locked, Xenon headlamps with headlamp washers and a leather/cloth trim combination.
