Sydney, Australia, October 25, 2018Jaguar Land Rover Australia's new $6 million, state-of-the-art national headquarters in Mascot, New South Wales, has been declared 'open for business'.

The stunning new complex was officially opened by Jaguar Land Rover Chief Executive Officer, Professor Doctor Ralf Speth, and Jaguar Land Rover Australia Managing Director, Mark Cameron.

Describing the company's relocation to the southern Sydney site, Mark Cameron said the opening of the new headquarters in Mascot ushered-in a new era for Jaguar Land Rover in Australia.

"It is an era in which we will have sales growth, expanded model line-ups and breakthrough technology," Mr Cameron said.

"We now have a head office and training facilities that align with our newest retail facilities and gives our employees an inspiring work environment," he added.

Located in the revitalised Mascot precinct close to Sydney's domestic and international airports, the impressive new structure covers 3200 square metres over three floors and features five large training rooms, a fully-equipped technical training academy, 14 meeting rooms and a gymnasium.

It also incorporates a new car display area to accommodate the latest models from both brands, including the stunning new I-PACE. Jaguar's first fully-electric vehicle, I-PACE is due to go on sale in Australia later this year.

As well as containing 20 conference rooms and meeting areas, the building also houses 150 individual workstations, giving staff a more collaborative workspace in its open environment.

And with some 13 on-site electric vehicle charging stations available for use by employees, Jaguar Land Rover Australia is openly showing that, with its new purpose-built facility, it is clearly looking towards an EV-rich future.

The new corporate nerve centre also opens-up a broad range of training and development opportunities for the company, not only for the 100 staff on site but also for staff from its 46 strong national dealership group.

Jaguar Land Rover Australia has already scheduled 70 Customer Experience training programs and 70 technical training sessions involving 1450 delegates in the current financial year. Those numbers are set to rise to 2820 delegates attending 182 Customer Experience programs and 138 technical training courses in the new facility in the 2019-20 financial year.

The new headquarters will also host an estimated 800 attendees for two new model launches scheduled for 2019.

Prof. Dr Speth's visit to Australia for the new corporate HQ's opening coincides with last weekend's Invictus Games opening ceremony in Sydney.

The Invictus Games is a sporting competition for wounded, injured or sick serving or former armed services personnel from 18 countries and Jaguar Land Rover has been a proud presenting partner since its inception in 2014.
