• Audi SQ5 model range receives reintroduction of the TFSI engine, providing customers unique choice of petrol or diesel power for the performance flagship
  • The Dynamic Black package is also now available across the SQ5 range, enhancing the looks and value for just $2,500

Zetland, 26. September 2024 – Audi Australia is thrilled to announce the reintroduction of the TFSI petrol engine to the acclaimed SQ5 range for the 2025 model year. This exciting development provides customers with the unique choice of petrol or diesel power for the performance flagship, enhancing the versatility and appeal of the SQ5 lineup.

The reintroduction of the TFSI engine marks a significant milestone for the SQ5 range, offering a dynamic driving experience with the silky smooth 3.0 V6 engine, renowned for its impressive performance and efficiency. The SQ5 TFSI boasts 260kW of power and 500Nm of torque, delivering exhilarating acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, making the SQ5 TFSI is the fastest accelerating SQ5 ever offered by Audi Australia. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.

In addition to the reintroduction of the petrol variant, Audi Australia is also proud to introduce the Dynamic Black package across the SQ5 range. This package enhances the vehicle’s aesthetics with a stealthy, sporty look, featuring black 21" Audi Sport alloy wheels in a 5-V-spoke offset design, black exterior styling elements including Audi rings and badging, door mirror caps, and roof rails (for SUV models), as well as gloss black brake callipers and carbon atlas interior inlays. The Dynamic Black package also includes a massage function for the front seats, adding an extra layer of luxury and comfort.

The SQ5 TFSI is priced competitively, matching the pricing of the SQ5 TDI models, which have seen a slight reduction due to recent changes in the Luxury Car Tax (LCT). The Manufacturer’s List Price (MLP) for the SQ5 TFSI starts at $119,084, while the SQ5 Sportback TFSI is priced at $124,315. The Dynamic Black package is available for an additional $2,500, posing fantastic value additions to an already well-specified performance SUV.

Audi Australia’s decision to reintroduce the petrol variant to the SQ5 range is a response to the strong demand from customers who appreciate the performance and versatility of the SQ5. The addition of the Dynamic Black package further enhances the value proposition, offering a distinctive and stylish option for discerning drivers.
