Zetland, March 11, 2021 – Audi Australia is preparing to welcome a new performance car for the very first time, with the Audi SQ2 scheduled to arrive in May. After some years on sale in Europe, the SQ2 has now been refreshed, and arrives in its own segment of the local compact SUV market, offering a truly unique blend of exciting performance, thrilling dynamics and all the everyday appeal that has made the Q2 model line so popular.

The 2.0 TFSI engine produces 221kW/400Nm, catapulting the SQ2 to 100km/h from rest in a rapid 4.9 seconds. Power is channeled to the road via a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and the brand's legendary quattro all-wheel drive for unmatched traction.
S sport suspension and progressive steering ensure handling is astonishingly good for a compact SUV, delivering all the thrills expected of such a sports car.
The Audi SQ2 arrives with a starting price of $64,400*, and as expected of such a model, it's furnished with a generous level of standard equipment.
Exterior design highlights include distinctive 19-inch alloy wheels and Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicators/light sequences and high-beam assist. Red brake calipers, quad tailpipes and the unique exterior styling add extra visual intent.
Inside, sport front seats in Fine Nappa leather with diamond patterned stitching, S embossing and contrasting seat colours, S sport leather steering wheel and swathes of special design touches like the light graphics inlay, give the SQ2 an appropriate sense of occasion.
The 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit with S-specific display and 705W Bang & Olufsen premium sound system ensure the driver has a seamless interface with the car, while a suite of assistance systems relieve the driver's in all on-road environments.
The SQ2 is available in a range of 9 exterior colours and two interior colour combinations.
The Audi SQ2 is expected to arrive in Australian showrooms in May.
