• Audi portfolio sees increased standard safety systems across the board, from A1 to Q5

Zetland, 28. September 2023 – Audi Australia is announcing new standard equipment across a large range of models with a specific focus on safety. The move speaks to the brand's commitment to Audi customers, providing a suite of highly desirable equipment items as standard for incoming MY24 vehicles.

Audi Australia has significantly increased the safety assistance systems across the range, from A1 to Q5. From Model Year 2024, all Audi models (except the Audi TT) will now feature adaptive cruise control as standard equipment. Previously, adaptive cruise control was limited to select option packages for several variants, meaning that customers were required to commit to a whole package if they wished to add the driver-assistance system. This is now no longer required and included as standard.

Additionally, a suite of driver-assistance systems has also been added to a number of models. Traffic jam assist, active lane assist, and Audi pre sense systems are just a few of the systems that can now be seen equipped across variants for the Audi A1, A3, A4, Q2, Q3, and Q5.

In addition to these inclusions, there are also several new paint colours and minor design changes across the range. Incoming MY24 A6 and A7 also feature a minor facelift with a newly designed honeycomb Singleframe grille, altered side air inlets for the A6 and a revised rear diffuser. A full list of equipment changes by model denoting the details can be found at the end of this text.

Audi Australia is confident the new inclusions and equipment standardisation across several core models will be an attractive, high value offset for customers, as unprecedented inflationary pressures and logistical challenges see a slight shift in prices across the range. Furthermore, even with the inclusion of an improved customer offer on safety across a number of models, Audi remains competitively priced within the market.

These equipment changes will be seen on incoming MY24 vehicles in a phased approach; due to start arriving from September and in the months following, dependant on specific model variants and their expected arrival dates.
