On-Commandô drive system that makes switching from 2WD to 4WD
and then into 4WD diff lock a breeze. Pushbutton electric starting
in any gear is backed up by an auxiliary recoil starter.
Independent suspension on all corners lets the Big Bear access
all areas, especially when combined with 150mm travel and puncture
resistant four-ply tyres specially fitted for Aussie conditions.
And when the going gets muddy, full floorboards keep the gloop at
bay.
Stopping ability is first class with a combination of dual
hydraulic discs up front and a low maintenance oil bath brake at
the rear that delivers predictable stopping power every time.
With a tight turning radius, changing direction on the Big Bear
is effortless, and carrying or towing duties are simply undertaken
thanks to tough cargo racks and a centre mounted trailer hitch.
