Jaguar Land Rover has developed a system that projects the direction of travel onto the road ahead of self-driving vehicles, to tell other road users what it is going to do next. The intelligent technology beams a series of projections onto the road to show the future intentions of the vehicle - for example stopping and turning left or right - as part of research into how people can develop their trust in autonomous technology. In the future the projections could even be used to share obstacle detection and journey updates with pedestrians.

Land Rover is making life even more comfortable for man's best friend on car journeys. With half of Land Rover owners thought to be dog owners, the business has launched a range of premium Pet Packs to help their four-legged friends travel in the lap of luxury. The new accessories come as millions of owners look to pamper their canine companions in celebration of National Dog Day in the UK on Sunday 26 August.

Project 8 is the most extreme performance road-legal Jaguar ever, designed, engineered and hand-assembled by Special Vehicle Operations. Volkswagen Australia has today unveiled the fruits of its industry-wide collaboration project, dubbed the ART3on: a track-ready customised Arteon Art Car, built by a team of Volkswagen apprentices and mentors from the Australian automotive aftermarket industry. The car has been built as part of Volkswagen Australia's second-ever Apprentice Build Challenge, which sees a small cohort of high-achieving Volkswagen apprentices selected to take on a unique build designed to test their skills and offer them invaluable industry experience not available in a typical automotive apprenticeship.
