2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Is Ready To Race

Suzuki's flagship sportsbike, the 2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 has arrived in Australia, ready to own the racetrack.

Featuring class-mastering performance, cutting-edge technology, design and engineering, the seventh generation GSX-R1000 is the ultimate fusion of performance and design and delivers more mid-range power and acceleration.

The 2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 is an unsurpassed package, powered by a 999cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine delivering 136kW of power and featuring Suzuki's Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel-injection system and a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio.

The undisputed superbike of our era, the Suzuki GSX-R1000 currently holds the Australian Superbike Champion title and has won multiple championships and filled 1000cc production based road racing grids worldwide.

Ridden by 2009 and 2012 Australian Superbike Champion Josh Waters, four-time New Zealand Superbike Champion Robbie Bugden and also recently retired three-time Australian Superbike Champion Shawn Giles, the GSX-R1000 continues to own the racetrack.

The commemorative edition features a brand-new colour scheme reflecting its race heritage, special anniversary decals and matching seat cowl. A unique serial number plate and special key add to the value and exclusivity of this special edition, with just 100 GSX-R one million commemorative edition motorcycles available in Australia.

The 2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 is available for a recommended retail price of $17,990\* and comes in a Metallic Triton Blue / Glass Splash White or Metallic Matt Black / Glass Sparkle Black colour scheme. All three GSX-R's are backed by Suzuki's two-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
