15 July 2009 - Honda is thrilled to be able to meet one
of the demands of the Aussie motorcycle market that has been on the
'wish list' for some time.
The manufacturer is releasing the top selling CT110 in a road
registerable guise, meaning that fans can now use their bike both
on road and off.
Honda's CT110 has been on offer in its agriculture form for many
years, and the new model being released is simply a road legal
version of this stalwartly machine.
The usability and durability of the robust CT110 is well
renowned, having been the model of choice for legions of
adventure-seeking riders needing a small off road bike that they
could rely on 100%.
In addition to being the powerhouse for many unusual fundraising
ride activities, the bike also has an iconic following through
numerous enthusiasts clubs whose members test the little machines
to their absolute limits.
The 4-stroke engine is extremely reliable, very low maintenance
and simple to service.
A convenient heel toe shifter and automatic centrifugal clutch,
plus a wet sump oil system and closed chain guard also make it
ultra-easy for maintenance.
With a dual range 4 speed transmission including a low and high
range, the bike's 105cc OHC single cylinder engine offers plenty of
grunt for getting around town as well as enjoying the open
road.
Honda's retro-looking gem also comes with front and rear gear
carriers, standard left and right side stands, and offers a low
seat height making it ideal for smaller riders.
Riding the CT110 is a breeze and is an ideal non-scooter
alternative for those who want a nimble, small capacity machine to
get them around in comfort and style.
The CT110P developed for Australia Post is a custom-designed machine which, although it looks and performs similarly to the agricultural version, is not the same bike.
Post bikes offer a number of features that are designed specifically for their purpose, and to insinuate that this latest release is the same will be confusing to your readers.
