Honda's factory Motocross, Supercross, Desert and Privateer 'Ride Red' team riders are pleased to have Scott Goggles as their protective eyewear of choice for the 2018-racing season.
Motocross goggles have evolved rapidly and today's race eyewear is crucial to a rider's overall performance. For 60 years, Scott have continually developed their products to ensure they meet the high standards expected of them.
Brett Metcalfe has spent 30 years racing in a variety of conditions and he attributes many of his results to the overall performance of his goggles.
"People grossly underestimate the significance of great goggles. I have passed many riders who have had to throw their goggles off during a race to capture wins and podium finishes. More importantly our eyes are priceless and choosing the right goggles makes a difference," said Metcalfe.
Privateer Ride Red rider Lachie Davis could not agree more with Metcalfe's sentiments; "I asked the team what eye wear we would be racing with as it's a really important component for me and my racing. Eye protection is everything. The roost, the mud, the dust – we need protection from it all," said Davis.
Penrite Honda's director Yarrive Konsky has worked with Scott Goggles since his privateer days as a racer and believes their creditable history gives reason to choosing to align with them.
"Scott has evolved since their inception into the goggles market. They pride themselves on producing the best product for racers and they take racing and eyewear protection seriously. It was not a hard choice. When choosing products we need to consider our riders safety first." Konsky said.
Scott Australia's brand manager Joel Ryan is pleased to be working with Honda Racing in Australia.
"We have worked with Yarrive and Honda riders since the 90's. It's been a long and rewarding relationship and together we have had great success," said Ryan.
