Milan, 26 May 2017 - Aprilia Racing and ManpowerGroup have signed an agreement with Experis - ManpowerGroup's strategic human resources management company - for the remainder of the 2017 MotoGP World Championship. The deal will see the Aprilia RS-GP machines ridden by Aleix Espargaró and Sam Lowes sponsored by Experis, and also involves a technical collaboration that will identify and promote the best talent through the Experis MotorSport Academy. This Academy will operate in close collaboration with Aprilia Racing to deliver the first top level motor vehicle training master class in "Motorcycle Race Engineering", which represents a significant step forward in technical and engineering training for the teams participating in premier motorsport competitions.

Training will include a total of approximately 200 classroom hours and include the active participation of Aprilia Racing technicians at two different workshops, although there is no indication of how candidates are selected or the associated costs involved. The first workshop is delivered at the Aprilia Racing headquarters in Noale and the second during a MotoGP test session to provide the technicians with on-track learning experience.

Aprilia Racing stands at the pinnacle of the Piaggio Group's technological prowess with a trophy case that boasts 54 World Championship Titles. The Italian marque has always been a great source of racing and engineering talent and intends to continue this legacy of attracting and developing the best technicians and engineers with the evolution of their motorcycle racing training programme.

"We are proud to begin this new collaboration with ManpowerGroup and to provide a great opportunity for talented young people" commented Aprilia Racing Manager, Romano Albesiano. "Aprilia Racing will participate actively in the first top level motor vehicle training master, a very interesting initiative to train a new generation of technicians and engineers. Aprilia Racing has always represented a forge of talent and not only in terms of riders. Noale has always been a great 'training ground' where the best technicians have been taught. This partnership confirms our mentality of developing human resources in order to achieve the highest levels of competitiveness in a sector that demands increasingly more know-how and specialization."

"The partnership with Aprilia Racing confirms the positioning of Experis as a qualified partner in the Motorsports world and more generally ManpowerGroup's commitment to supporting companies in identifying the most innovative HR solutions during this time of great change, where human capital and the development of new skills are fundamental for competing on the market" said Stefano Scabbio, ManpowerGroup Italia Managing Director and Southern and Eastern Europe CEO "The modern skills life cycle is shorter than ever and the change is taking place on a scale that has never before been seen. We must therefore act immediately in order to identify those skills that must be developed and remodelled in order to have trained workers for the future."
