The former European 250 GP champion Ivan Clementi won the race
with a strong performance, after engaging in a tough duel with
Matthieu Lagrive and Fabrizio Perotti, who finished second and
third respectively, repeating their results from qualifying.
Behind them, Dumain managed to beat Salom. The Spaniard finished
second in the overall standings, followed by Giuliano Rovelli,
third in the riders table.
The Triumph ParkinGO European Series finished its opening season
with this seventh round. The absolute winner of the year was
Fabrizio Perotti, who won three of the races. The young Italian has
now the opportunity to participate on the Triumph Supersport bike
in the European finale, held at Albacete at the end of October.
Ivan Clementi - race winner: "Lagrive and
Perotti were very tough for two thirds of the race, but I then
built a gap on the last laps. It was a beautiful experience,
because this competition is really fun. Now that's what motorcycle
racing is all about!".
Fabrizio Perotti - Series winner: "I had a
fantastic season, I really felt great racing in this challenge. I
now have a great opportunity for my career: I will take part to the
European finale, held at Albacete, where I hope to do well.
Supersport is a whole new world for me, but with a little help from
the team which today achieved another podium result, I think I can
adapt quickly".
Giuliano Rovelli - Triumph ParkinGO European Series
