Suzuki Australia's first-ever GSX-R-only Ride Day held at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit last Friday has been declared a massive success, prompting plans for additional Suzuki ride events.

Special guests, former Suzuki GP star, Daryl Beattie and three-time Australian Superbike Champion, Shawn Giles took to the track along with the delighted GSX-R owners.

As well as the champion riders, Team Yoshimura Suzuki's master tuner Phil Tainton was on hand to offer guests tips about bike set-up.

"It was Suzuki Australia's first-ever ride day and the response was so positive that we are already looking at staging more Suzuki rider track days in the future," Glyn Griffiths, National Marketing Manager - Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia said.

"It was great to have Daryl and Shawn on-track for the day and most of the participants took the opportunity to chat to both of them and Phil Tainton in between sessions.

"Thanks to Phillip Island Ride Days, the whole event ran so smoothly and we are really looking forward to working with them on future events."

Suzuki's next GSX-R-only track day is scheduled at Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway on Monday 11 December.

Riders can take to the Eastern Creek circuit at a pre-booked price of only $169, with a further $10 discount available for those pre-booking on-line at www.easterncreekridedays.com.au.
