Sydney Australia, 29th April 2016 - Australia's Jaguar and Land Rover retailers have walked the red carpet at Sydney's famed Ivy venue, celebrating the company's annual Retailer of the Year awards.

The prestigious event attracted not only Dealer Principals and staff from Jaguar and Land Rover retailers from around the country but also Jaguar Land Rover Australia's senior staff including Managing Director Matthew Wiesner, Sales Director Andrew Phillips and Network Director Louise Cassidy.

Dmitry Kolchanov, Regional Director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, was a special guest at the gala event.

The Retailer of the Year award is the pinnacle of Jaguar Land Rover's award program and recognises those retailers who excel in the fields of sales and customer service and who settle for nothing less than exceptionally high standards in both the running of their businesses and in customer interaction.

The gala night also marked the company's inaugural Customer First Award, introduced this year to recognise those retailers who deliver exceptional customer experiences day after day, week on week, month after month.

Retailer of the Year judging criteria includes a range of factors including sales performance, customer satisfaction, dealership presentation and staff training all taken into consideration.

Presenting the awards, JLRA Managing Director Matthew Wiesner said "Both Jaguar and Land Rover brands are currently experiencing record levels of growth in Australia, and it is vital that our retailer partners strive to exceed our customer's expectations in every way possible.
These exemplary Jaguar and Land Rover retailers awarded tonight have consistently achieved excellence in all key areas of the business."

Jaguar Regional Retailer of the Year: Tony Ireland Jaguar, Townsville, Queensland

Land Rover Metropolitan Retailer of the Year: Southern Land Rover, Cannington, Western Australia

Land Rover Regional Retailer of the Year: Rex Gorell Land Rover, Geelong, Victoria

The 2015/16 Customer First awards were presented to:

Jaguar Regional Customer First Award: Southern Classic Jaguar, Wollongong, New South Wales
